How about a run towards 60 degrees? That's exactly where we are heading today. Temperatures will continue to climb through the day. The sunshine and a nice southerly wind will keep the momentum going into the afternoon and evening hours.
The only negative about the whole weekend will be the weak frontal boundary that sweeps into Kentucky later tonight. It will likely spark a few showers and at the tail end of this system, maybe a few flakes. I know that sounds impossible, but if this winter has proven anything it's that a wintry blast can come on the heels of a big warm-up. While this one won't be as extreme as some of the others we have seen, it will nonetheless be a cooler blast.
Sunday's highs will drop into the 40s. This makes for a very uncomfortable day when you compare it to Saturday. Don't worry though, by Monday we are right back on track to see highs jump into the low 60s.
The middle of the week will feature another system that has all kinds of snow and cold potential. It's something we will watch very closely!
Enjoy your Saturday!
