The sunshine will be out in full force today. The catch... it's really not going to help us warm-up very much at all. Highs will likely creep into the mid 40s. That's roughly 20 degrees below average for daytime highs for late October.
The weekend as a whole looks pretty solid. A very weak cold front will move in from the northwest on Saturday night and into Sunday. It will trigger a few showers for Sunday. The keyword of that sentence is FEW. Most will stay dry and just notice more clouds around.
The week of Halloween features a big system coming in and running temps up the thermometer. We could see some folks top out around 70 degrees because of the strong flow from the south. This is a transitional season system and that can mean rough weather is a possibility. Because we'll see highs climb to near 70 and that will be quickly followed up by 40s... again. It's not the temperature swing that causes it... it's all of the other elements that will enhance our threat for some storms.
Have a Fantastic Friday!
