A sloppy start to 2013!

Posted: Tue 4:30 AM, Jan 01, 2013

Happy New Year and I hope everyone had a great/safe celebration last night! Seeing a wintry mix to start of 2013, but most of this will fade through the day. By afternoon we will be left with a sliver of possibly light snow for the southeast and quiet for the rest of us. Highs today will linger in the 30s once again. Wednesday through Saturday looks to be calm and cold. Dry weather settles in, but we will continue to have some cold spells work their way southbound through the week. Come Sunday we will see a system work into play, but this one appears weak with only a shot a flurries. Enjoy this first day of 2013 and keep it safe out on the roadways!
