Heavy rain producing thunderstorms continue to rumble across southeastern Kentucky. Watch for additional flooding problems.
Say goodbye to the summer feel outside for the next several days. Rain will move into the area through this Friday with scattered showers and thunderstorms. This will keep our highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s this afternoon.
We hold onto rain chances for the weekend where Saturday will have a better chance than Sunday. Saturday's rain will be spotty with showers and storms. There is no one location that has the best chance. Heading into Mother's Day our chances decrease, but not to zero. We are looking at a 40% chance on that day.
I'm not seeing much change in the sloppy forecast for next week. Rain chances stick with us through most of the week. We do need the rain to clear up some of our allergies though.
