It looks like we are going to hang onto nice days ahead and that includes today. Mostly sunny skies are expected as highs climb to the upper 70s to lower 80s. This will be the same case for tomorrow, but add in a slight chance of rain.
Come Thursday a weak disturbance approaches the region giving us a 40% chance of storms. Come Friday we are seeing warmer conditions in the region with our temperatures in the 80s. We will also be mostly dry, which means the kickoff for Keeneland looks good to go for the most part except for the slight chance of rain.
Heading into the weekend we are looking at a front moving through that will give us storm chances on Saturday and Sunday. Unfortunately the timing is still the issue and models are just too inconsistent for me to say what time you can expect this rain. We will be watching it closely and ironing out the details as we move closer.
