A warning for those visiting an area park

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Warning signs were posted around the UK Arboretum after a series of car break-ins there and in the surrounding area.

UK Police say someone has been arrested for the break-ins, but they still ask people at the Arboretum not to leave anything valuable inside their cars.

"I definitely don't leave my computer, my purse, iPod, anything like that that I think someone would want to break in and get," runner Kaci Bullock said. " I always lock everything in my trunk, try to keep anything out of eye's view I guess, so no one can see any valuables in my car."

Despite an arrest, police say they decided to leave the warning signs up for now so people will continue to be alert.
