A wild weather day to start the work week

Updated: Mon 2:09 PM, Dec 10, 2012

Showers continue to stick around through portions of the day. This front that is bringing all this rain will eventually push through this afternoon/evening giving us some cold air to work with later today. With that cold air and leftover moisture we could be looking at a rain/snow mix during the afternoon/evening time frame. With the wet and warm ground, don't expect any accumulation with this stuff. If snow does fall today we are NOT looking at an accumulating, heavy snow. Temperatures through the afternoon will be in the upper 30's to lower 40s, so dress like it is going to be a bitterly cold day. After today we will be left with a dry and cool pattern through the end of the work week.
