FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - The Governor's Task Force on the Study of Alcoholic Beverage Control Laws is scheduled to meet in Louisville on Thursday.

Chairman Bob Vance said the meeting, set for 6 p.m. EST at the Mayor's Gallery on Jefferson Street, is to allow the public to comment on issues involving licensing, local option elections, even public safety issues involving the sale of alcoholic beverages.

The 22-member task force created in July has been charged with reviewing state laws and regulations governing alcohol sales.

The task force, broken into three committees, has been meeting since August.
