Alert neighbor helps police capture burglary suspects

Nicholasville Police have three people in custody in connection to some recent burglaries. Police have charged 23-year old Brian Beckley, 18-year old Jonathan "Kaine" Frazier, and 23-year old Jordan Nevels.

On June 26th, officers were looking for Brian Beckley to serve an attempted burglary warrant on him in relation to a residential burglary on Beacon Hill in Nicholasville. While police were looking for him, an alert neighbor in Keene Crossing subdivision called police because she had seen someone take something out of her neighbor's garage and drive away. She gave a good description, and officers located the vehicle driving just a short distance away.

Nicholasville Police say that Jordan Nevels was driving the vehicle, and Beckley was in the passenger seat. Other patrol officers checked the residence in Keene Crossing, and found that the back door had been forced open. Stolen items, including a gun, from the house were located in the vehicle with Nevels and Beckley.

Beckley is charged with three counts of burglary and one county of attempted burglary. Police say he committed crimes on Beacon Hill Drive and Hickory Hill Drive, as well as in the Keene Crossing and Autumn Hills Subdivisions.

Nevels is charged with burglary for a crime in Keene Crossing.

And Frazier is charged with burglary for a crime police say happened in the Autumn Hills subdivision.

Police say they are reviewing evidence in other burglaries in the city and county to see if these men could be connected.
