All eyes on the severe weather potential tomorrow

This summer-like setup continues to win the battle with the warm, humid air and afternoon thunderstorms. We will have a couple thunderstorms today with no big issues expected. All eyes turn toward tomorrow with our severe weather potential. The timing on this keeps speeding up, so for now we are looking at late afternoon/early evening to start in the northern zones. This line then tracks southbound ending up in the Bluegrass area by evening before moving into southern zones during the night. Damaging winds will be the main threat with hail and possible tornado or two.

Once this system moves out of the area Wednesday night into Thursday morning things will be very nice afterwards. Highs on Thursday in the 70s with much less humidity. Friday and Saturday still look pretty nice with highs in the 80s and dry.
