Scattered showers and thunderstorms continue to push across central and eastern Kentucky. This action will begin to diminish as we head into the overnight, and that's when some fog will fire up.
Friday's weather looks warm and windy for the opening day of the fall meet at Keeneland. Highs will be around 80 under a partly sunny sky. I can't rule out isolated showers and storms popping up.
A big storm system works our way for the weekend. Saturday will continue to be warm and windy with some late day storms developing. Rain will become more widespread Saturday night into Sunday as a cold front moves in.
This front will try to pick up some tropical moisture from "Karen" down in the Gulf of Mexico. That may keep rain chances into early next week as cooler air works in.
