BOURBON COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - An ambulance taking someone from Nicholas County to the Bourbon County Community Hospital was involved in an accident on Tuesday morning.

The Sheriff's Office says the ambulance was passing cars on Millersburg Road, with its lights and sirens on, when a truck pulled out in front of it.

A Bourbon County ambulance came to take the patient the rest of the way to the hospital.

An EMS worker was taken to the hospital to be checked out.
