Another Winter Weather Advisory for Sunday evening and Monday morning. This includes several counties in our area. Initially, we'll see all rain falling out there. By the time we get into the evening we make the transition to frozen precip.
-Rain creeps into the area from Southwest to Northeast.
-Temps will remain above freezing during the day and keep everything falling in the form of rain.
-Late this evening and into the nighttime hours the change to snow and sleet will begin to happen.
-While ground temperatures are pretty warm, some slick spots will be a possibility.
This system likely lays 1"-2" in the Bluegrass region and 1"-4" in parts of Eastern Kentucky. If you cross over into Southern Kentucky you will run into a longer period of rain and virtually no accumulation.
We'll keep you updated today.
