Rounds of showers and storms continue to push across the region. Flash flooding is the main threat tonight into Wednesday.
Many of you could run into some patchy frost on Sunday morning. Skies will remain on the clear side and temps will take a big nosedive. Parts of our region are now under a FROST ADVISORY. With calm winds and clearer skies, we have a better chance to dip into the mid and upper 30s through the entire area.
Sunday is the beginning of the warmer air. We'll still be below the normal high for this part of May, but it is warmer than where we have been. Most areas will likely see highs jump into the mid and maybe even a few upper 60s. This will come with sunshine and a much better weather picture.
Next week features a return to Spring with a taste of Summer as highs creep back into the mid 80s. The warmer air will win out with highs slowly creeping back up the thermometer. It starts with 70s returning by Monday and 80s by midweek.
The next solid chance of rain will happen toward the end of the week.
