Another night of near record cold

We continue our pleasant run of fall temperatures across the bluegrass state. This nice air is straight from September and will give us another night of near record cold.

The record low for Lexington is 53 degrees from 1976 and we have a shot at getting there.

Highs on Thursday will range from the mid to upper 70s under a partly sunny sky.

A slow moving low pressure system will head our way for the weekend. That could bring some showers in here by late Friday. Occasional showers and a few storms should be around for the weekend.

Highs continue to run several degrees below normal through early next week.
