Rain will slowly sweep into Central Kentucky during the afternoon and evening hours. The rain is associated with a frontal boundary. This isn't one of those big time game changing cold fronts. It will knock our highs down by a few degrees, but nothing significant.
The front will at least keep rain chances alive through Monday. It looks like the front will stall out and then washout. What's that mean? Not much in the grand scheme of things. The impact won't be a significant one.
Heading into the middle of the week temperatures will stabilize and the pattern will calm for a few days. This won't last all week though! A pretty potent cold front will come calling late this week... maybe into the weekend. Timing is still a little tricky. My concerns are strong storms and even some heavy rounds of rain. The lighter side of that front will be the temperature swing. Right now it looks as if we'll see highs drop from the 70s to the 50s. Yes, I sad 50s! Plenty of time for change on this... stay tuned!
