Apple's new iPhone 5 officially goes on sale

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - It's a day many fans around the nation, and around the world, have been waiting for.

In Lexington, dozens of Apple fans were camped outside Fayette Mall early Friday morning, eagerly awaiting the new iPhone 5 to go on sale.

The newest iPhone officially went on sale at 8am Friday morning.
