Laurel County woman charged with forging prescriptions

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - The Laurel County Sheriff's Office has arrested April Hoskins of Barbourville Road in connection with drugs.

Hoskins has been charged with trafficking a controlled substance, obtaining a controlled substance by fraud and obtaining a controlled substance without a prescription.

Hoskins was arrested around 3 P.M. Tuesday afternoon. When arrested she was in possession of 60 hydrocodone pills.

Hoskins has had eight previous forging prescriptions charges in the past 14 months for a total of 5,800 hydrocodone pills.

She was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Facility.
