Posted: Sun 8:36 AM, Jan 20, 2013

It has been a sunny and warm weekend with breezy winds. Today temperatures will hold steady and fall this afternoon as a cold front passes. Highs will reach the upper 30s to lower 40s with sunny skies. Tonight expect a few more clouds with a low of 19.

Another shot of cold air will arrive early Monday with a few flurries possible, especially across nothern KY. Temperatures will stay in the 20s with gusty winds. Lows will dip into the single digits with wind chills below zero. Tuesday highs will stay in the teen with light snow possible in the evening into Wednesday. It will be chilly through the week with several rounds of light snow with a bigger storm system on Thursday.

Keep it tuned to WKYT for updates over the next several days.
