Cold air continues to blow into the bluegrass state tonight. This will send temps down into the mid and upper teens for many areas. An arctic front arrives on the scene late Wednesday and will bring a round of flurries to parts of the region.
The air behind this boundary is even colder and will send temps close to 10 degrees by Thursday morning. Afternoon highs will reach the low 20s under partly sunny skies.
Another storm system rolls our way by the weekend. This will produce a period of rain and snow Friday night that changes to rain Saturday. Colder air quickly returns by Saturday night with rain changing back to some snow.
Snow showers and arctic cold temps continue into Sunday.
