CORBIN, Ky. (WKYT/WYMT) - Police are investigating after they say a lone gunman robbed the north Corbin Taco Bell Sunday night, and locked the employees in a freezer.
Police say a customer came into the store, and noticed all the cash drawers emptied, and standing open, no employees around, and called 911.
When police arrived, they located four employees locked in the freezer.
Investigators for the sheriff's office learned a man had came in the restaurant with no customers around.
They say he was armed with a pistol, and robbed the business of an unknown amount of money, locked the employees in the freezer, and left the scene on foot.
He is described as white male, 5'8" to 6" tall, 200-225 pounds, was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, and a bandana around his face.
