Armed gunmen wanted for assault

Police are looking for three armed gunmen who they say assaulted a man.

It happened late Tuesday night on Willman Way in Lexington, near Hays Boulevard.

Police say a man was sitting outside his home when three men wearing masks demanded cash, then hit him in the face.

The victim ran to a neighbor for help. That neighbor is a police officer. Police say the officer chased the gunmen to a nearby car, where they got away.

Police do not have a good description of the gunmen.
