Arrest made after "Betty & Sue" marijuana found in Whitley County home

WHITLEY COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - A Whitley County man was arrested Friday after sheriff's deputies discovered several large bags of "Betty" and "Sue" marijuana in his home.

Deputies found the drugs in a large, black, garbage-style bag in his home on Tackett Creek Rd.

Joshua C. Singletary, 35, of Williamsburg was arrested and charged with Trafficking in Marijuana.

Deputies said they believe the bags were marked "Betty" and "Sue to identify which plants the marijuana came from.

Whitley County officials said deputies were originally called out to the house around 9:45 that night, where neighbors were arguing. Deputies were told Singletary was growing marijuana inside the home, which prompted the search.
