LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - WKYT has just learned that an arrest warrant has been issued in connection to the disappearance of Lexington man Alex Johnson, and a second man is behind bars, also facing charges.
A source tells WKYT Robert Markham Taylor is wanted for murder, kidnapping, and tampering with physical evidence. There are three separate warrants out for his arrest.
Lexington Police arrested Timothy Ballard on complicity to kidnap and tampering with physical evidence charges in connection to Alex Johnson's case. He appeared in court Tuesday afternoon. Ballard spent 17 years of a 25-year sentence behind bars in Alabama for a first degree robbery charge. He's been on parole since 2009.
Investigators have still not found Alex Johnson. He disappeared just a few days before Christmas.
