Arrests made in violent Marion Co. home invasion

MARION CO. (WKYT) - Two men now face charges in connection to a violent home invasion in Marion County.

The sheriff's department tells WKYT they arrested 21-year old Steven Bartley and 31-year old Lawrence Inman. They made the arrest around two Tuesday morning at home in Shepherdsville.

Police say a tip from the public led them to believe that Bartley and Inman were behind a home invasion in the Holy Cross community.

The victim said two men knocked on her door early Monday morning and asked for her help. But when she let them in, she said they attacked her.

"They were looking for some kind of pills," said the victim of the thieves, who asked that WKYT not identify her.

She says she didn't have what they were looking for so they ransacked her house, and even injured her cat.

"He's still alive right now..he is suffering," she said.

Bartley and Inman are charged with robbery. Police say other charges could be filed in the case.
