Arson investigation underway after stolen truck catches fire

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Investigators want to find the person who set a stolen truck on fire.

Someone abandoned the truck on the property of Palumbo Lumber on West Main Street over the weekend.

Monday morning, employees were trying to figure out who the truck belonged to when they heard a commotion outside.

A woman says she saw a man hop out of the vehicle, throw something inside the truck and take off.

A short time later, it was on fire.

Employees were able to put it out before firefighters arrived.

Investigators say the truck was stolen from a local horse farm.
