As storms roll through, damage reports come in

Crews are tracking damage following storms that are moving across our viewing area. We're also tracking the weather pattern on the First Alert Defender.

The first reports of damage included some downed trees and mobile home damage in West Liberty.

First small cell passing through Franklin County has caused some trees downed in the area. It is also being blamed for a traffic light that's out at US127S and US 60 intersection. There are reports of several lightning strikes.

Reports are coming in to the newsroom that there are downed trees in Salyersville.

Crews are on the scene of a fire on Plum Lick Road in Bourbon County where witnesses tell officials that lightning struck bales of hay, causing a large fire in a field.

Clark County dispatchers tell 27 NewsFirst that crews there are headed to a fire behind Ruckersville Christian Church following a lightning strike there.

There have also been numerous reports of trees down and power outages in Lexington
