Back to typical January weather

Happy Monday everyone and back to the swing of things! We will be feeling much different today as we step outside as highs today settle in the 30s through much of the area. Some of us will see sunshine all day and I believe it will be for areas near and north of Lexington. The others in the southern zones will experience clouds and late rain/sleet/snow mix during the evening and overnight period. Another wave looks to move through on Tuesday, which looks like a better chance to see some rain/snow/sleet out of this one. No accumulation is expected and it does appear to be more of a rain maker than anything else. Dry conditions prevail through the rest of the week, but we need to keep an eye on a system to the south of us come Thursday and into Friday. We will watch that through the next couple of days.
