Berea woman arrested for child endangerment

BEREA, Ky. (WKYT) -- Police have charged a woman after they say they found her drunk with two young children in her care.

Berea police arrested Kimberly Sherman, 24.

They say after getting a request for a welfare check they showed up to a home on Provincial Way.

When they arrived they say Sherman was unsteady on her feet, and had a strong odor of alcohol.

Inside her home, police say they found an infant and a 3-year-old

Police charged her with endangering the welfare of a minor.
