Better bundle up before you step outside!

Posted: Tue 4:52 AM, Jan 22, 2013

Man oh man are we in for a cold one today! Highs only reaching the upper teens to lower 20s and when you add in a steady wind we will all be feeling like the teens this afternoon. We appear to stay dry today, but that will change slightly for tomorrow. Wednesday and Thursday will be in the 20s and 30s, but the northern zones look to have a chance at a few flurries. This will not amount to much as the system stays north of us. Come late Thursday night and into Friday we will see a storm system blow through the Bluegrass state. Depending on the track we could see a mix of snow, sleet and rain or just heavy snow. The latest weather models continue to lean toward snow. We will give it a couple of days for these models to iron out those details.
