A Kentucky museum where dinosaurs roam the biblical Garden of Eden is unveiling a national billboard campaign featuring the popular prehistoric lizards.
The cartoon billboards are appearing in several cities including Chicago, San Francisco and Houston and feature colorful dinosaurs drawn in a vintage comic book style.
The signs are a new ad campaign for the Creation Museum, which has exhibits built around the Old Testament creation story. The Christian ministry that runs the museum, Answers in Genesis, says the billboards were put up around the country to "keep hundreds of thousands of guests coming to learn biblical truths."
But some science educators critical of the museum say the campaign is meant to attract young people interested in dinosaurs to a place that delivers a religious message.
