LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - You have a chance to help the Northeast pick up the pieces following Superstorm Sandy. WKYT is teaming up with UK Coach John Calipari to raise money for storm victims.

UK players will answer your calls and everyone who's touched by the devastation will be encouraged to donate. You can also take part in an online auction that will feature items such as tickets to the Kentucky Derby Barnstable Brown Party, a Harley Davidson motorcycle and 30 pieces of the 2012 national championship floor that will be signed by Anthony Davis, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Coach Cal.

"We're getting former players to be involved in it. We're giving away some really neat stuff. A lot of it will be championship stuff that we won, the floor, different pieces of the floor that you can buy. All the money is going back to the victims of this crazy Hurricane Sandy," said Calipari.

You can watch the telethon tonight from 7 to 8 PM on WKYT, WMYT, or www.wkyt.com. It will continue on CWKYT from eight to nine.

People wanting to make a donation can call 859-299-5466 or toll-free at 855-257-2700.
