LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - The final four game isn't until 8:49 p.m., but plenty of fans are starting to celebrate almost 12 hours before the game even begins.
It's no secret that it's a big weekend for people in Kentucky. A final four match-up and opening weekend at Keeneland. Between the two, some will certainly have a lot to enjoy this Saturday.
But it will likely be a long day for those who were already up pre-gaming for a little horse racing, and a little basketball, as early as 8:00 Saturday morning.
Some fans at Keeneland say the spring meet and cheering on the Cats are two things they couldn't miss.
"I mean of course I'm excited that we're in the final four," says Jay Million, a UK fan at Keeneland. "But just having Keeneland opening up this weekend is awesome on top of it. I'm sure we'll start pre-gaming tomorrow for the national championship."
Those who aren't too tired from watching Saturday night's game can head to Keeneland on Sunday between 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
