General showers will be the main action over the next few hours. A few could remain on the strong to severe side in eastern parts of Kentucky.
We have some dramatic weather changes moving in for the upcoming weekend. From heavy rain to arctic cold and flurries... we have it all for you.
Rain will increase late tonight into Friday and could be heavy at times. Winds will be gusty with highs back into the 50s. The showers will shut down by Friday night as colder air sweeps in.
A shot of arctic air arrives on Saturday as temps drop through the 30s by the end of the day. That will set the stage for upper teens by Sunday morning and temps struggling to get above freezing during the day. A couple of snow flurries will also be possible.
I'm also keeping a close eye on a storm system that may bring rain and snow our way for Thanksgiving week.
