Big temperature drop coming

Welcome to Fall! We had a beautiful Saturday with sunshine and breezy winds. Highs reached the mid 70s. A secondary cold front moving across the region will bring the coldest temperatures we've felt in a long time. No rain will develop as the front passes but winds will be gusty up to 25 mph. Lows will drop to 40 Saturday night with clear skies and breezy winds. Frost is not a concern for Sunday morning due to breezy winds. Sunday expect highs only in the lower 60s with sunshine. With clear skies and a light wind, patchy frost will be likely as lows dip to 38 Monday morning. Sensitive plants need to be protected. The frost will not be widespread but you should take extra precaution and cover plants or bring them indoors just in case.

To begin the work week, sunny skies and cool temperatures continue. A quick warm up can be expected on Tuesday through the rest of the week with scattered showers mid week.

Have a great weekend!
