Black Friday Forecast: Shoppers, showers, falling temperatures

Updated: Thu 5:54 PM, Nov 22, 2012

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) -- A strong cold front is working toward the bluegrass state and will move in just in time for Black Friday shoppers.

Scattered showers will develop along this front and move into central and eastern Kentucky early Friday.

Temps will be near 50 early in the day and then drop into the 30s by early evening. Colder air will continue to filter in through the weekend as highs stay in the 30s for Saturday.

A few snow flurries will also be possible. Another system will impact our weather early next week with rain that may end as snow.
