NEW YORK (AP) - Anti-smoking advocates and health experts are hailing a proposal from Mayor Michael Bloomberg that would keep cigarettes hidden from view in New York City stores in an effort to discourage young people.
Tobacco companies and smokers are calling it an overreach. Bloomberg announced his plan Monday and it's expected to be introduced to City Council tomorrow.
