A major winter storm is on the way to the bluegrass state. Local high water issues are possible early Wednesday and that will be followed up by heavy snow and sleet. Significant accumulations are likely Wednesday night and Thursday.
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - The annual Bluegrass Fair at Masterson Station Park is about a month away. This year's fair comes as a major construction project is underway on Leestown Road.
Fair organizers are working with Lexington Police on how to best navigate the traffic. Police have suggested that people enter from the back entrance of Masterson Station Park by getting on Spurr Road and turning on Shamrock Lane. Organizers are also working with Lextran to help with traffic issues.
The Bluegrass Fair begins July 10th. Organizers are expecting more than 50,000 people to attend.
