LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) -- Lexington police say a body has been found in a lake just off of Richmond Road.
We're told it was found fifteen feet into the water, and, so far, the person's identity and gender has not been identified.
A groundskeeper with the Lake Ellerslie Fishing Club found the body. He says the body was so badly decomposed, he could not tell the gender. He said it was, however, wearing a heavy winter coat.
The part of the lake the body was found in, is not open to the public.
Police say they are waiting for the coroners report before moving forward with their investigation.
