Body found near busy Lexington intersection

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) -- A lot of questions Saturday after a body was found near a busy Lexington intersection.

The body was found around noon, on Saturday, in a field near Winchester Road and Sir Barton Way.

Lexington police say a driver saw a tent in the field and looked inside, discovering the man.

They haven't released his name but police say his death doesn't appear suspicious.

Lt. Raymond Roller says they still don't know how he died.

"That would be up to the coroner to determine but there's no overt signs of foul play," said Roller.

Roller says the man's personal belongings were in the tent, and they believe he may have been there for some time.
