BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (AP) - Proceeds from a book sale in Bowling Green will support the Southern Kentucky Book Fest partnership and area literacy projects.

The annual Macy's Used Book Sale will be Feb. 8 to 10 at Bowling Green's L&N Depot - home of the Historic Rail Park and Train Museum.

Thousands of materials will be available for sale at the event. Book sale organizers say donations are already coming in.

Donations of books, videos, CDs, DVDs and audio books have been made at Macy's, the Warren County public library's main branch and at Western Kentucky University.

The Southern Kentucky Book Fest is a partnership project of WKU Libraries, the Warren County public library and Barnes & Noble Booksellers. The goal is to encourage reading and a love of books.
