The flash flood threat increases late tonight and into Thursday. Rounds of storms may dump a lot of rain across our region.
Rounds of thunderstorms continue to rumble across central and eastern Kentucky. These storms are packing a lot of lightning and torrential rains. That heavy rainfall may lead to local high water problems. Please keep a close eye on water levels through tonight.
In addition to the heavy rain and lightning. Any storm that goes up could also be strong or severe with damaging winds and large hail.
Scattered storms will be possible for Saturday and Sunday with highs in the 80s.
Highs by Monday may be close to 90 degrees with additional showers and storms developing. Showers and storms will increase into much of next week.
