INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - A 12-year-old Ohio boy seriously injured by a lightning strike at a suburban Indianapolis summer camp that also injured two other children has been moved to a Cincinnati hospital.
Ethan Kadish's parents wrote on CaringBridge.org that he was moved Wednesday morning by medical transport plane from Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis to the Cincinnati Children's Hospital. The Indianapolis Star reports (http://indy.st/1b7sPjx ) the Loveland, Ohio, boy's condition hasn't been disclosed, but he was initially reported in critical condition.
Kadish was injured in a Saturday lightning strike at Goldman Union Camp Institute, a Reform Jewish camp that serves children in the Midwest entering grades three to 12.
A 9-year-old Chesterfield, Mo., girl, and a 9-year-old Louisville, Ky.-area boy were also injured in that strike. They were released Monday from Riley hospital.
