A line of strong to severe storms will race across central and eastern Kentucky over the next several hours.
BOYLE COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - Boyle County officials say that after the weather sirens failed to sound during the tornado warning Sunday night, they plan to test them on Friday at noon to make sure they have been correctly repaired.
According to the Boyle County Emergency Management Director there was a glitch that caused the sirens not to go off when a tornado warning was issued for Boyle County. He says crews looked into the systems and have corrected an error they believe was the cause.
Officials say the problems have all been repaired and that the systems appear to be working properly but they say a full-scale test is still needed.
