A Flood Watch and a Winter Storm Watch are out for the entire region late Tuesday through early Thursday. Heavy rain develops Tuesday night into Wednesday morning and may put down 1”-3” in some areas. We are looking at the possibility of significant snow and sleet from late Wednesday through early Thursday.
We continue to live a charmed weather life in the Bluegrass State. The past few weeks have been nothing short of amazing, and that rolls on into the start of the weekend. While the start looks great... it's the ending that may not be so pretty.
High school football fans should be happy, with kickoff temps in the low 70s out there this evening.
Saturday keeps the nice stuff, with highs in the upper 70s to near 80 degrees, with more sunshine. Winds will pick up as the day wears on, and clouds might increase. Kentucky football fans will have a great evening of weather under the lights at Commonwealth Stadium.
A cold front sweeps eastward across the state on Sunday. This front will bring a line of showers through here. Temps will be way down with readings in the upper 60s for highs.
A few showers will stick around into Monday.
