Building demolished to make way for new Lexington health clinic

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A building is being torn down to make way for a new public health clinic in Lexington.

The Health First clinic will be built on Southland Drive. It's been in the works for years.

Demolition of the current building on the site began on Tuesday morning.

Our news partners at the Lexington Herald-Leader report the new Health First clinic should be open by October of next year. It will serve around $20,000 patients a year.
