LEXINGTON Ky. (WKYT) - An 18-year-old charged in connection with a shocking case of bullying went before a judge today where he entered a plea of not guilty to a robbery charge.

Lexington Police say Antoine Young planned and videotaped an attack and robbery of a high school student two-weeks ago.

Investigators say the victim, a juvenile, was walking home from Tates Creek High School when he was attacked by another juvenile, also a student. Police say Young encouraged the attack as he filmed it.

Investigators say days later that teen victim tried to take his own life. According to the arrest warrant he told police he attempted to kill himself because he was of returning to school where he might be bullied again.

Young will be back in court on Sept. 19 at 8:30 a.m. for his Preliminary Hearing.

Police have charged the juvenile suspect in the case and a third suspect is also facing charges.
