Burglars steal $22,000 in prescriptions from Frankfort pharmacy

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WKYT) - Police need your help to find the burglars who stole $22,350 in prescription drugs from a pharmacy.

The break-in happened on February 12 at Capital Pharmacy on East Main Street in Frankfort.

Police say two people forced their way inside and stole numerous bottles of medication.

Police tell WKYT the suspects were driving what appeared to be a light colored Ford F-150 pickup truck.

Both men are described as white with medium build and average height. We're told they had on dark clothing.

If you have any information, you're asked to call Frankfort Police at 502-875-8523.

If you want to give your information anonymously, you can call Frankfort Crime Stoppers at 502-875-8648.

To submit an anonymous tip through text messaging, type FCS and your message, then send it to 274637 (CRIMES on most cell phones).

Crime Stoppers may pay a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest in this case.

Capital Pharmacy said they will match the Crime Stoppers reward for information leading to an arrest.
