Burglary arrest takes a bizarre twist

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - A burglary took a bizarre twist when police say they went to arrest the suspect.

Early Tuesday morning, the Laurel County Sheriff's Office says 34-year-old Danny Tincher tried to break into a woman's home on Keavy Road.

When deputies arrived, they say Tincher claimed he had a bomb.

Deputies say they scuffled with him, and Tincher struck one of them in the arm with an ink pen.

He's charged with assault, menacing and criminal mischief.
