Burned SUV found along roadway

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Police don't know what happened to the driver of an SUV, found burning along a rural road.

Lexington Police found the burning wreckage on Pegasus Lane, near Mount Horeb Pike.

At this point, investigators think the driver crashed a Chevy Suburban through a fence, and then into a guardrail. The SUV then caught fire.

When officers arrived, they didn't find a driver. Police search the area with dogs, just to make sure the driver wasn't ejected. They did not find a victim.

There was no license plate on the burned SUV.
